Owned by the Astner family for over a century, the Sattlerwirt is managed with dedication as a Tyrolean inn and hotel. Anyone who stays here experiences the close relationship between modern architecture and traditional warmth. Although the main house, which has been renovated many times, conveys a cosy ambiance, the clear styling of the new side wing is impressive. A floor-to-ceiling window façade and exposed concrete give the corridors in the extension a striking look. Green accents in the flooring and in front of the windows make the hotel corridors seem friendly and lively. Straightforward by Interface was the selected floor covering. The strong shade of lime-green gives rise to a uniquely random look – a harmonious contrast to the concrete surfaces. The sound-absorbing effect of the carpet tiles on the hotel corridors has also proven to have had a positive effect.
