In a total of three construction phases, one of the world’s most sustainable office buildings was created in the Bavarian capital with NuOffice. Together with Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, an energy concept was developed that was not only awarded platinum LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification with the world’s highest score at the time, but also defined its very own standards. NuOffice represents the perfect balance between ecology, efficiency and employee well-being for some well-known tenants which include Estée Lauder and Giorgio Armani. The platinum-coloured Heuga 568 carpet tiles laid in Nu Office I were sustainably manufactured by Interface. Their metallic look, creates synergy between nature and high-tech whilst also reflecting the futuristic look of the exterior design.
